I am a nature photographer based in Sarpsborg, Østfold, Norway, passionate about nature, landscapes, wildlife, and birds. Through photography and film, I aim to share the beauty of the natural world while raising awareness about the importance of protecting animals and their habitats.
My work includes close-up wildlife and bird photography, spectacular landscapes, and documentary storytelling from Norway, as well as from my travels to Iceland and Tibet. I combine photography and film to capture nature’s diversity and inspire conservation of all living beings.
I seek to capture the power and beauty of nature while documenting wildlife, birds, and people respectfully around the world. In Tibet I learned the importance of finding the right place at the right time, respecting local customs, and gaining permission before photographing. In Iceland, the same principles applied – respecting local experts and avoiding unnecessary risks, such as approaching volcanoes.
For me, experiencing different cultures, history, and human lives is the most important part – photos and videos are a way to share these experiences. I want every image to convey the authentic and living moment, including atmosphere, light, people, and their world. A photograph is a small window into the experience, but the experience itself is always the most important.

Iceland – Eyjafjallajökull Volcano Eruption
During the 2010 eruption that disrupted air traffic across Europe, I documented the event together with my fellow photographer Geir. We prioritized safety, stayed in contact with local experts, and witnessed the dramatic ash clouds at 10,000 feet, lightning in the clouds, and rapidly changing weather. I also created a 4K documentary video about the eruption.

Tibet & Himalayas – Culture, Height, and Nature
In Tibet and the Himalayas, I experienced spectacular landscapes, high mountains, and deep Buddhist traditions. Respecting local culture was essential – gaining permission, following customs, and learning the rules to be present in a dignified way. Experiencing people, history, and culture was just as important as capturing photos and videos. The landscapes, light, and altitude challenges created unique and valuable memories.

For me, nature is more than something to photograph. It gives me calm, inspiration, and a place to think. Being outdoors, watching the light, and feeling the silence is like therapy for me.
Through my camera, I try to show the beauty and small details that are easy to miss in everyday life. Light, atmosphere, and presence are important in my work. Every photo and film is my way of sharing the peace and experience that nature gives me.
My mission is to share nature experiences with others. Through my photos and films, I tell stories about nature, animals, birds, people, and my journeys. I want to show how beautiful our world is and how all living things are connected.
Nature is fragile. Animals, birds, and people all depend on balance and harmony. Through my work, I hope to give space for reflection and remind us that life is vulnerable and worth protecting. If we slow down and really look, we already know what needs to be cared for.

Capturing the Northern Lights at Tunevannet is about more than pointing the camera at the sky – it’s observing nature, light, and movement. I look for patterns, colors, and fleeting moments that convey the magic of the night. Using long exposures and careful composition, I aim to transform the ephemeral aurora into lasting images that reveal the beauty of Sarpsborg’s natural landscapes.
The Osprey is one of the most majestic and beautiful birds of prey in Norway. Strong, focused, and perfectly adapted to life near water, it is an expert hunter, diving with precision to catch fish. Each encounter with this bird is powerful and unforgettable.
Every year, the Osprey travels an incredible distance from Norway to Africa and back again. This long journey is a reminder of the strength, endurance, and vulnerability of wildlife. Photographing and filming the Osprey gives me deep respect for its life and natural rhythm.
I actively work to support and protect the Osprey population by documenting their behavior, habitat, and daily life through photography and 4K video. By sharing these stories, I hope to raise awareness and help preserve this iconic species for future generations.
